In order to secure all that is best in the education of a child, maximum co-operation between the parents & school authorities is necessary. We earnestly recommend that parents or guardians look into their ward's school diary every day & see to it that the lessons & homework assigned for the next day are done. (The child should be encouraged to cultivate neatness habitually. Remarks given in the diary should be seen & counter signed regularly.)
If you feel that your child does not make the desired progress the Principal/ Headmistress should be contacted. Private tuition are discouraged. No teacher is allowed to impart private tuition. A teacher violating the rule is liable to face action according to service norms.
Parents/ Guardians or other persons are not allowed to contact/ meet the students or meet the teachers during the class hours.
Criticism of child's teacher & the school in his/her presence should be strictly avoided. It cause the child to loose respect for the teacher, with the consequent failure to learn from him/her. If you have a legitimate complaint you may see the Principal, without fear of reprisal ( only during the meeting hours).
As your child advances in age, guide him/her to become a resourceful member of home & country. Encourage self- help for work & study. Children should be taught to keep their room tidy, make their bed, polish their shoes, carry their bags etc. The formation of such habits early in life inculcates in them the idea of the dignity of work, a fundamental personal virtue, necessary for successful career in life.
