Norms For Promotion

  • Promotion is granted on the basis of the whole year work & hence we lay stress on regularity in work & performance in the examination.
  • For promotion 80% of attendance is compulsory for every student. In case of serious illness or accident the parents/ guardians are requested to inform the school authorities in time.
  • The Principal with his discretionary power can bring the required attendance down to 75%.
  • Grading scale for Scholastic Areas (Classes VI-VIII)

    • School will award grades as per the following grading scale:

    MARKS RANGE GRADE
    91-100 A1
    81-90 A2
    71-80 B1
    61-70 B2
    51-60 C1
    41-50 C2
    33-40 D
    32 & Below E (Needs improvement)
  • Grading scale for Scholastic Areas (Class IX)

    • School will award grades as per the following grading scale:

    MARKS RANGE GRADE
    91-100 A1
    81-90 A2
    71-80 B1
    61-70 B2
    51-60 C1
    41-50 C2
    33-40 D
    32 & Below E (Failed)
  • Promotion Policy for class IX & XI .
    • Overall result will be prepared on the basis of both units & terminal examinations.
    • Minimum pass percentage in each subject is 33.
    • Passing theory & practical separately is compulsory.
    • Student failing in only ONE SUBJECT will be given compartment.
    • Student failing in TWO SUBJECTS will be given re-test
    • Student failing in THREE SUBJECTS will be detained.
  • No. grade will be awarded to a student who has been absent from any exam. No re-exam will be conducted.
  • Results declared at end of the year are final in all cases & will not be reconsidered.
